Aura 4

For Remote teams

One source of truth for a remote product team.

Tool sprawl is your real burn rate. Aura 4 collapses ghost states into one real-time board, syncs through bad wifi, and surfaces stalls with explainable signals — so your engineering manager spends Mondays shipping, not auditing Notion.

“We need a single source of truth for tasks.” — every head of engineering who has just inherited a stack.

Before / after

The workflow change, on one page.

Before

Before — Tool sprawl

  1. Three tools tracking the same epic — none agreeing on state.
  2. Async standup in Slack, copied into Notion, ignored in Linear.
  3. Manager builds a weekly dashboard from screenshots.
  4. New hire reads four onboarding docs before touching code.

After

After — Aura 4 as SSoT

  1. Every task lives in one place; presence shows who is in focus.
  2. Local-first writes survive bad wifi and refreshes.
  3. Manager sees the real status without a synthesis ritual.
  4. New hire reads the board to learn what the team is doing.

Founding teams

Shape Aura before it's set in stone.

Aura just launched, so instead of a logo wall we don't have yet, founding teams get something better: a direct line to the people building it and a real say in what ships next. Use it, tell us what's broken, and watch your feedback become the roadmap.

FAQ for Remote teams

Real questions from this segment.

  • How does Aura compare to Linear or Jira?

We are narrower on purpose. Linear and Jira are project-management systems; Aura is a focus-and-truth layer for small teams that don’t want to operate a PM tool. Use Aura instead — most 5-to-20-person teams find they don’t miss the configuration overhead.

  • Can we use Aura alongside an existing PM tool?

Yes — many teams pilot Aura in parallel for a sprint and migrate task by task. We never bidirectionally sync with another PM tool; the source of truth has to be one place or you’re back where you started.

  • Does it work for engineering AND non-engineering teams?

Yes. Customer success, content, sales ops — anywhere people own discrete tasks. The Pulse signals are general (task age, velocity, focus drop, reassignment churn), not engineering-specific.

  • Does it scale past 20 people?

It works through about 30 people, but the product is shaped for 5–20. If you are over 30, we may be the wrong tool for you today; we will say so on a demo rather than oversell.
